Students are automatically enrolled on the balanced plan, but can easily switch to one of our three enhanced plans. If you select an enhanced plan before September 30, it will take up to three weeks for the changes to take effect.

The Student Insurance Plan cover May intake students from May 1, 2017 to August 31, 2017. Opt-in and opt-out is available to full-time May intake students only until May 31, 2017. Students who are not considered May intake are not eligible to opt-in/opt-out at this time.

To opt-in, visit or visit the Student Association Main Office (Student Centre, 2nd Floor). Payment can be made online using Visa or MasterCard, or in person via certified cheque or money order.

Students also have the option to select one of the Enhanced Plans at no additional cost if they complete the request online by May 31, 2017.  If students are opting in dependents, they will need to be on the same plan as the student.
